Vladyslav Ivanov
Before relocating to Canada, Vlad lived in the picturesque city of Prague, Czech Republic, where he pursued a degree in business and economics. Alongside his studies, Valad worked as a project coordinator at a non-commercial organization, which gave him valuable experience in managing initiatives and working with diverse teams. However, he always felt a strong desire to explore more, both in terms of career opportunities and life experiences. After much reflection, Vlad made the bold decision to move to Canada in search of new challenges, broader horizons, and the chance to push myself further.
Shortly after arriving in Canada, Vlad had the opportunity to interview with Nicholas Braun at United West. That initial conversation marked the beginning of an exciting chapter. Over the course of a year, he dedicated myself fully to learning, adapting, and growing within the company. His efforts were rewarded when he earned a promotion into a management position—a proud moment that not only validated my journey but also set the foundation for even greater personal and professional development in the future.
Advice:
If you’ve had a bad day, ask yourself: "Did I try my best to make it a good day?" If the answer is no— try harder tomorrow. If the answer is yes — try even more harder tomorrow.
Denis Danilov
Denis, owner of MRD Marketing Inc., was born in Samara, Russia. He moved to Canada in 2016 to attend SAIT University to study Petroleum Engineering. With little work experience and unable to find work in his field, he joined the business in September 2018. On joining the business, he just wanted “a job”, but after his first R&R retreat in Punta Cana with the management team, he realized that he did want to complete the Management Training Program.
He transferred to Wild West Roadshows Inc. in January of 2020 and relocated to Edmonton, AB to build a team. He completed the program in August of 2020. Family is a major motivation for Denis and he strives to provide a great life for his family, both here in Canada and at home in Russia. Denis joined the team in Mississauga, ON in January 2023.
Advice:
This is just the beginning. But it is going to be the toughest and longest part of the Management Training Program, so it’s important to remember to believe in the systems when it comes down to building a team. Not everyone is going to work out, but you have to believe in yourself and never give up.
